What to Bring

Camping Equipment:

• Waterproof tent
• Waterproof sleeping bag(s)
• Camp stove (if you plan to have hot food)
• Tarp
• Wagon/cart (for transporting supplies to and from Carderack Parking Lot)

What to wear / carry:

• Walking shoes (sneakers, hiking boots, etc.)
• Hat with visor
• Rain gear/pullover (can be kept in van if sunny)
• Rosary
• Songbook (as issued)
• Sunglasses (if desired)
• Water bottle/canteen (at least one quart; you can refill at lunch time)
• Watch
• Cell phone (only if necessary)

Keep at campsite / vehicle:

• Recommended Clothes:
• Change of walking clothes (1 set)
• Dress clothes for Mass at Basilica (1 set)
• Extra undershirts (3 sets)
• Extra socks (3 pairs)
• Extra underwear (3 sets)
• Toiletries
• Shaving kit
• Mirror (if desired)
• Soap, deodorant
• Towel
• Toothbrush/toothpaste
• Toilet paper
• Band-aids or other supplies for minor injuries, blisters, etc.
• Insect repellent (if desired)

Do not bring:

• Electronic devices such as ipods, games, etc.
• Unnecessary cell phones
• Clothing with inappropriate logos, images, etc.
